Weather & scheduling

Why can mowing be delayed when it isn’t raining anymore?

The lawn can still be too wet after the rain stops. Saturated soil, standing water and soft ground can cause ruts, clumping and avoidable damage. We assess conditions before returning; sunshine alone does not mean every property is ready.

Can one rainy morning affect the rest of the week?

Yes. A late start can shift the day’s route, and repeated storms can push work into the following week. A replacement date is an estimate and can move again if conditions remain unsafe. We know you want your yard cut, and we want to be upfront about what the weather allows.

Will I pay extra if my grass grows taller during your weather delay?

No. We do not charge an overgrowth surcharge when the extra growth is caused by ASAP’s weather-related scheduling delay. A lawn that is already overgrown when service begins, or becomes overgrown after a customer-requested skip or break in service, may need a separately reviewed price. We explain any price change before additional work is approved.

Can I choose an exact mowing day or arrival time?

Tell us your preferences and access restrictions when requesting service. Routes depend on location, workload, weather and ground conditions. Dates and arrival times are estimates unless specifically confirmed otherwise in writing. New and late-season customers need a confirmed route opening before service starts.

Does prepaying move me to the front of the route?

No. A prepaid plan or discount does not purchase priority, a guaranteed arrival time or protection from weather delays. Rush service must be separately agreed. If weather prevents us from meeting an agreed rush commitment, the rush fee is refunded and the underlying work is rescheduled under the applicable agreement.

How do I get an update if my visit moves?

Keep your phone number and email current so you receive the notifications set up for your service. Weather can change timing after a reminder is sent. For a property-specific update, contact the ASAP office with your address. An automated reminder is not a guarantee of arrival.

* Recent seasons have brought difficult stretches of spring and summer rain. We understand the frustration of waiting for a cut. Our goal is to communicate honestly, protect your lawn and return when conditions allow. Extra growth caused by ASAP’s weather delay does not carry an overgrowth surcharge.

Quotes, billing & changes

Is the lawn or snow calculator price my final quote?

No. Calculator prices are starting estimates. Actual mowable grass, driveway size, access, slope, condition and the requested work can affect the quote. We review your property and send the scope and price for you to approve before service is confirmed.

Does submitting a request reserve a visit?

A request starts the review; it does not book a visit or reserve a route spot. Service is confirmed after ASAP accepts the work, you approve the quote and any required payment is received. Share deadlines early so we can review availability before you make plans around a date.

Will you ask before doing work that costs extra?

Yes. Work outside the approved scope needs a reviewed price and written or electronic approval before we proceed with it. Extra hauling, more material, additional beds or concealed conditions can change a project. Please send changes through the office so the crew and quote stay aligned.

When do I pay, and how does a prepaid plan work?

Your quote and invoice state the deposit, balance, due date and billing method for your service. Review whether a plan is billed per visit, monthly or for a season, and what it includes. A monthly payment does not necessarily mean a fixed number of visits. Contact us before payment is due if you have a billing question.

What if I need to skip, cancel or reschedule?

Contact the office as early as possible with your address and requested change. Notice requirements and any charges or refunds depend on your approved agreement, work already completed and materials or costs committed to the job. A weather delay normally means rescheduling; it does not automatically cancel the agreement.

Lawn care & property access

What is included in a regular lawn visit?

Routine lawn maintenance generally includes mowing, trimming, edging and blowing within the areas listed in your quote. Bed weeding, shrub trimming, leaf removal, hauling and other projects are separate unless included. Tell us about fences, narrow gates and areas needing special equipment before we quote.

Do I need to be home, and how should I prepare?

You generally do not need to be home when the approved work can be accessed safely. Unlock gates, secure pets indoors, remove pet waste, toys, hoses and loose objects, and move vehicles from areas being serviced. Share gate and access instructions directly with the office.

What happens if a gate is locked or an area is unsafe?

The crew may be unable to service that area. Contact us promptly to resolve the access issue; a return visit depends on route availability. Any applicable missed-access or return-trip charges are governed by your approved quote or agreement, rather than assumed to be included.

What should I tell you about sprinklers, wires or hidden obstacles?

Identify irrigation heads, shallow lines, invisible fences, drainage features, loose pavers and other known hazards before work starts. Share photos and mark locations where practical. For work involving digging, utility-location requirements and the scope must be addressed before excavation begins.

Landscaping, cleanups & snow

Is hauling, debris disposal or extra material included?

Only when it is listed in your quote. Leaf volume, heavy branches, disposal needs, bed preparation and material quantities affect the work. Photos help, but we may need a closer property review. Let us know whether debris should be removed or kept in an agreed location on the property.

Can rain delay landscaping or a cleanup too?

Yes. Wet soil, storms, wind or unsafe access can affect planting, grading, mulch and stone delivery, equipment use and debris removal. Material availability can also affect timing. Share any event or listing deadline before approval; we will review feasibility without promising a date that conditions may prevent.

When does snow service start, and is salt included?

Your approved snow agreement defines the trigger, covered areas, snowfall tiers and whether deicing is included or separate. Storm conditions and route progress affect timing. Clearing does not guarantee bare pavement or ice-free surfaces, and gravel or pavers may require a different approach. Use the snow calculator for residential starting estimates.

Can you handle lawn and snow service for our HOA or business?

Yes, we can review both scopes together. Share the site map, common areas, individual driveways or walkways, service frequencies and proposal requirements. Commercial and HOA properties receive a scope-based proposal; residential calculator prices do not apply to an entire community or commercial site.

Communication & service concerns

Who will work on my property?

ASAP uses its own crews and selected service partners for overflow or specialized work. ASAP remains your point of contact for the approved scope, scheduling questions and service concerns. Send requested changes to the office so they can be reviewed and documented.

What should I do if an area was missed or something looks damaged?

Contact us promptly with your address, service date, a description and clear photos. Keep any suspected damage available for review when safe to do so. We will review the concern against the approved scope and property conditions, then discuss the next step. Any reporting terms in your agreement still apply.

Where can I see my quote, appointments and invoices?

Use the secure client-hub link in your ASAP quote or message to review the details available through Jobber. Commercial and HOA proposal requests use Jobber, as do requests from our lawn and snow calculators. Use the secure link in your ASAP quote or message, or contact the office for an update. If an earlier or other website request gave you an ASAP reference number, you can still use the Track request page.

What is the best way to reach ASAP?

Call the office at 609-715-1577 or email operations@mowandmore.com. Include your property address and quote or request reference so we can find the right record. Please send scheduling, billing and project changes through the office rather than relying on an on-site conversation alone.
