Our service standards

More than a quick cut

A clear scope for every lawn visit.

Your approved quote identifies the areas and tasks included. Here is what we review when putting together a routine lawn plan.

Mowing that fits your lawn

We review the mowable grass, current condition and equipment access to define the areas included in your recurring plan.

Trimming & edging

Include fence lines, borders and other edges that need attention. Narrow gates, slopes and extra trimming are reviewed before quoting.

A tidy finish

Blowing clippings from the serviced driveway, walks and other agreed hard surfaces is part of the routine scope. Leaf removal and hauling are separate unless listed.

A recurring care plan

Tell us your preferred frequency. We confirm the schedule around growth, location and route availability, with weather and ground conditions taken into account.

Residential & commercial lawn care

From your front lawn to business grounds.

Different properties need different plans. These photos show the lawns, edges and open areas we consider when putting together a maintenance scope.

Residential

Curb appeal across your property.

From front lawns to side yards, we review the mowable grass, borders and access to create a maintenance plan that fits your property.

Commercial

Consistent care across larger grounds.

Bring mowing, trimming and finishing into one clear scope for your business or managed property. Commercial and HOA work is quoted separately from the residential calculator.

Start with the lawn you actually mow

The right estimate starts with the right details.

Two properties with the same lot size can need very different amounts of work. Open grass, fenced backyards, slopes and narrow access all affect the plan.

Weekly, bi-weekly or an initial reset?

Tell us how often you want service and when the lawn was last cut. If it needs a recovery first, we can review that work separately from the ongoing mowing plan.

Have these details ready

  • Gate widths, fenced sections, slopes and obstacles
  • Areas to include or leave untouched
  • Preferred frequency and any additional outdoor work

Upfront about rain & scheduling.

Rainy springs and summers have made scheduling challenging in recent years. Even after rain stops, saturated soil can be too soft to mow without leaving ruts or clumps. We review ground conditions before returning.

No extra overgrowth charge when additional growth is caused by ASAP’s weather-related delay.

Prepayment does not guarantee priority or a specific arrival time. Contact the office for property-specific updates.

A few minutes of preparation helps.

  • Unlock gates and make the agreed service areas accessible.
  • Keep pets indoors and remove pet waste, toys and hoses.
  • Identify sprinklers, shallow lines and known hidden obstacles.
  • Tell the office about changes to access or the work needed.

Need beds, shrubs or fallen leaves handled too? We can review those tasks before adding them to the scope.

Before the first visit

Your lawn care questions, answered.

Is the calculator price my final mowing price?

No. It is a starting estimate based on the information you enter. We review the actual grass area, access, slope, condition and work requested before sending a formal quote.

Should I enter my whole lot size?

Use the mowable grass area where possible. Your house, driveway, patios, wooded areas and beds are not all mowable lawn. Use the calculator’s measurement options and tell us if the estimate needs review.

Should I choose weekly or bi-weekly mowing?

Weekly mowing can be a better fit during active growth. A longer interval may leave more growth to cut and handle. Tell us your preference so we can review your lawn, seasonal needs and the available route.

Do I need to be home?

Usually not, if the agreed areas can be accessed safely. Unlock gates, secure pets, remove pet waste and loose objects, and share access instructions with the office.

Is an overgrown first cut included at the regular price?

An initially overgrown lawn may need a separate recovery quote before recurring service begins. Share recent photos and the approximate grass height. We confirm any additional scope or price before work.

Will I pay more if your weather delay makes the grass taller?

No. We do not charge an overgrowth surcharge for extra growth caused by ASAP’s weather-related scheduling delay. Initial overgrowth or growth after a customer-requested service break may require a separately reviewed price.

Does regular mowing include bed weeding or shrub trimming?

Only if those tasks are listed in your quote. Bed care, mulch, shrub trimming, leaf removal and other landscaping projects can be reviewed separately or alongside your mowing request.

Can I request an exact day or time?

Share your preferences, but route availability, weather and ground conditions affect scheduling. Dates and arrival times are estimates unless specifically confirmed otherwise in writing.
