Clear expectations, from request to completion
This page summarizes how ASAP approaches property care. Your accepted quote and service agreement define the work and terms for your property. This summary does not add a charge or change an existing agreement. Contact the office if anything needs clarification before you approve.
Estimates, scope and approval
Calculator results are starting estimates. Property size, condition, access, materials and requested work can affect the final price. A service request or proposal inquiry does not book work or reserve a route opening.
Only the areas and tasks in your approved scope are included. Added work, materials and hauling require review and approval. Residential calculator pricing does not apply to an entire commercial site or HOA community.
Weather and scheduling
Rain, saturated ground, snow, ice, wind and unsafe conditions can affect work and route timing. A dry afternoon does not always mean a lawn is ready for equipment. We may adjust a visit to avoid unsafe work or unnecessary property damage.
We do not charge an overgrowth surcharge for extra growth caused by ASAP’s weather-related scheduling delay. Initial overgrowth or extra growth after a customer-requested break may require a separately reviewed price.
Dates and arrival times are estimates unless specifically confirmed otherwise in writing. Prepayment does not purchase route priority or an exact arrival time. Keep your contact details current and contact the office for property-specific updates.
Access and preparation
Before a visit, unlock gates, secure pets, remove pet waste and loose objects, and move vehicles from the agreed work areas. Tell us about gate widths, slopes, irrigation, hidden lines, fragile surfaces and known obstacles.
If an area is inaccessible or unsafe, we may be unable to service it. A return visit depends on availability; charges apply only as provided in your accepted terms. Send access instructions directly to the office rather than relying on a conversation with a passing crew member.
Secure pets and keep children, visitors, and other people away from active work areas and equipment. Remove pet waste, toys, hoses, cables, decorations, and other movable obstacles from the agreed work area. Discuss any concern or change with the office so instructions can be recorded and communicated to the crew.
Known and concealed property conditions
Before work begins, tell the office about known defects, recently installed surfaces, loose or deteriorated pavers or pavement, drainage problems, irrigation heads, invisible pet fences, private utility lines, shallow wiring, landscape lighting, and items hidden by grass, leaves, mulch, or snow. Identify boundaries, areas to avoid, and any surface or product restrictions. Photos or a walkthrough may help document existing conditions.
Required utility locating and safe-work procedures still apply. Customer-provided markings do not replace legally required locating or ASAP’s duty to use reasonable care. If concealed conditions or unsafe access materially affect the work, we may pause the affected task, explain the issue, and seek approval for a revised scope before proceeding.
Lawn care, landscaping and cleanup
Routine lawn service covers the mowing, trimming, edging and blowing listed in your quote. Bed weeding, shrub care, leaf removal, hauling and landscape projects are separate unless included.
A cleanup covers the agreed areas and conditions at the time of service. Leaves or debris that accumulate afterward, hazardous materials, concealed heavy debris, and additional hauling are included only when specified. We will review a material scope change and obtain required approval before adding work or charges.
Planting, seeding and aftercare
Plant and lawn establishment depend on weather, soil, drainage, watering, pests, wildlife, and aftercare. The approved quote should identify included soil preparation, materials, watering or maintenance visits, and any express warranty. Aftercare instructions will identify the customer’s responsibilities for work that requires them. Contact ASAP promptly if those instructions are unclear or problems develop.
Any warranty must be stated in the accepted documents with its coverage, duration, exclusions, and claim process. Customer-supplied plants or materials and any associated warranty limitations must be addressed before installation. These policies do not eliminate rights or warranties that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
Snow and ice responsibilities
Your accepted quote and snow agreement identify the service dates, accumulation trigger and measurement method, covered events, clearing areas, deicing selections, and charges. Only the listed services and areas are included. A seasonal plan does not include unlimited snowfall, unlimited treatments, or continuous attendance unless expressly stated in your agreement.
Changing conditions and return visits
Snow removal and deicing reduce winter hazards but cannot guarantee bare pavement or continuously ice-free surfaces. Snowfall, freezing rain, drifting, drainage, melting and refreezing, traffic, and municipal plows can change conditions during or after a visit. Use caution even after service.
Your agreement must identify whether monitoring, inspections, pretreatment, refreeze treatment, and automatic return visits are included. A plowing trigger does not by itself authorize or include treatment for freezing rain or ice below that trigger. Additional clearing, municipal plow berm removal, snow relocation, or treatments follow the agreed scope and authorization process. A request or online message does not confirm immediate dispatch.
When deicing is declined
If you decline recommended deicing for any area, we will identify that area and request a separate written acknowledgment. Snow clearing alone does not treat residual ice or prevent refreezing. The acknowledgment records your selection, the remaining risks, and arrangements for treatment and monitoring of the excluded areas. It does not automatically release ASAP from responsibility for its own work or affect the rights of people who have not agreed to it.
Property access and winter preparation
Before winter service, disclose fragile or uneven surfaces, loose pavers, gravel, drainage issues, steps, curbs, utilities, and other known obstacles. Agree on clearing boundaries and snow-storage areas. Move vehicles and loose objects from the service area, secure pets, and keep people clear of operating equipment. Tell the office about changed conditions or access restrictions.
We may pause or omit an unsafe or inaccessible area and contact you about next steps. Any return visit or additional charge follows your accepted agreement. Surface precautions depend on the property and equipment; they do not guarantee against all damage. Gravel may require leaving a protective snow base when specified in the quote.
Between service visits
Follow the monitoring and treatment arrangements in your agreement. Report known hazards promptly and take reasonable steps within your control to warn people or restrict access while arranging assistance. Contacting ASAP does not replace those precautions or confirm that help is on the way. These responsibilities do not reduce ASAP’s agreed duties or obligations imposed by law.
Payments, cancellations and refunds
Follow the due dates and payment arrangements in your accepted quote or agreement. Card-on-file charges require the applicable authorization. Contact the office promptly if an invoice appears incorrect.
For a skip, cancellation or rescheduling request, contact us as early as possible. Notice periods, charges and refunds depend on your accepted terms, applicable law, work completed and properly committed costs. This page does not establish a blanket nonrefundable deposit or cancellation fee. A weather delay does not itself determine whether you are entitled to a cancellation or refund; the agreement and applicable law govern.
Crews, service partners and concerns
ASAP may use its own crews and selected service partners. ASAP remains your point of contact for scope, scheduling and concerns.
Contact ASAP promptly at 609-715-1577 or operations@mowandmore.com with the property address, service date, location of the issue, and a description. Include photos when safe. Preserve relevant records and allow a reasonable opportunity to inspect, without delaying emergency care or necessary steps to prevent further harm. For an emergency, call 911.
We will review the available information and discuss appropriate next steps. Reporting a concern does not itself establish fault. This policy does not impose a short claim-forfeiture deadline, waive legal rights, or excuse damage caused by negligent work.
